Michael's: Pancake Spatula w/ Gingerbread Mold

While shopping at Michael's on Saturday, I found this cute Nylon Pancake Spatula with a Silicone Gingerbread Mold for $2.99. The spatula is *huge* and the Gingerbread Mold has a little tab on the side so you can lift it up off the griddle.

I had a 40% Off Coupon from my Sunday Ad, but there's also a printable Coupon HERE that's good until 12/31/09. (Thanks, Coupon Gal!)

Now, I'm not sure if your store will have these or if they'll be on sale now. (as the coupon is good on regular priced items, only) But if not, you can grab one for $1.79 with coupon. You might be able to make a cute Pancake Cooking basket for someone with it. I think there's still a coupon HERE for a $1 off a box of Quaker Oatmeal Pancake Mix. (The only place I can find them around here is at Target.)

I'm holding off on using ours until Christmas Day when I make pancakes for breakfast. It will be fun to treat the kids to some gingerbread man ones. Sorry about the picture quality. My camera hates me these days. I suppose after taking probably 5,000 pictures it's getting tired. :) I need to find one that takes good food shots. (Any recommendations?)

Another great free gift pack offer from SC Johnson's Right@Home website: free Right@Home Holiday Gift Basket goes to the first 2,000 to register for it each week. Each gift pack has Ziploc, Pledge, Glade, and Scrubbing Bubbles products inside. Thanks goes to My Frugal Adventures for the heads up on this new offer! Starting again on Dec. 8 and Dec. 15 another 2,000 will be given out for a total of 6,000 gift packs (I'll remind you). I don't think you'll know if you get one, so I recommend registering again on Dec. 8 and 15.

In order to qualify, you must be a member of Right@Home (easy to sign-up and free to do so) and you can not have won a gift pack within the past 180 days. Guess what? It's pretty much impossible to figure out between the request time and the time you receive it if your last gift pack disqualifies you. So go ahead and request it and let SC Johnson sort it out. Yes these guys again. This time the code is NEWBABY. It will try to tell you that it doesn't work but I typed it upper case, lower case etc and all of a sudden it worked for me.

Shipping is 3.19 if you order 50 cards. Shipping is free if you order 60 cards. I didn't even bother trying the 5x7 size (still a little bitter that they took away that option the last go around). Instead I made more 4x8s and did a collage format to supplement the cards I ordered during the last offer. A lot of people have never met either of my boys and I wanted a fun and inexpensive way to showcase their many expressions. I am sending out 2 4x8 cards and 3 photos in each envelope (100 free 4x6's from the same site) for less than what I normally have to pay for one card.

New Target deals and new coupon system

Target rolled out a new coupon system this week and discontinued their old system which allowed unlimited prints. I'm a wee bit sad about this as I love the wonderful deals at Target and I've loved being able to get a few more than two of each deal.

But that's life and I'm not going to complain about it! Instead, I'm going to be grateful for all the great deals I've been able to get at Target in the past and be thankful that they are still readily allowing you to print two of each coupon per computer. And the good news is that this will allow there to be more deals to go around for everyone!

I Love Mommy Hood

Wow being a single mom can be so busy. I do love it and my daughter may be a handful but gosh darn she is so funny. In about the last four days she has been Ms. Chatty Cathy or should I say Mouthy Madison. She loves to wear her Ballerina skirts everywhere. The other night we were getting ready for bed well she was going back to bed. I had taken some medicine and she wanted her vitamin but she had already taken it earlier when it was her bed time (she has been a light sleeper since we moved) I said no. She asked again and again so I finally said to my 2 1/2yr old well I want a million dollars and she very loudly said "I NO WANT A MILLION DOLLARS" it was soooo funny. There just doesnt seem to be enough time in the day to get everything done I guess that is why I live off of coffee. Well I guess I better go pick her up off the floor where she is sleeping on her giant frog because she woke up and had to sleep where I was. Here are some of the recent funny pics of my little diva.
